Michael Di Nucci is the son of noted watercolor artist Tony Di Nucci. He was introduced to art as a child in his father's studio.  He received his Masters of Science in Art Education from Long Island University, C.W. Post and his BFA from The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art in New York.

Michael has earned a variety of awards and scholarships and is a member many professional associations. He has studied at the the Art Student's League and is currently studying at  the  New York Academy of Fine Art and the Long Island Academy Atelier. 

Michael currently divides his time between his home on Long Island NY, and his home and studio in western Maine's Saco river valley.
